We report the first identification in space of H2NC, a high-energy isomer H2CN that has been largely ignored chemical and astrochemical studies. The observation various unidentified lines around 72.2 GHz cold dark cloud L483 motivated search for, successful detection of, additional groups harmonic relation. After an exhaustive high-level ab initio screening possible carriers, we confidently assign to H2NC based on good agreement between astronomical theoretical spectroscopic parameters sound arguments. observed frequencies are used precisely characterize rotational spectrum H2NC.
